Any document submitted to the Land Registry since 13 October 2003 (when the Land Registration Act 2002 (2002 Act) came into force) is available for public inspection and copying (section 66, 2002 Act). This includes leases over 7 years old, which upon registration with the Land Registry, become a public document.
